El dispositivo ATmega8L es un microcontrolador de baja potencia CMOS de 8 bits basado en arquitectura AVR RISC. Debido a que ejecuta poderosas instrucciones en un simple ciclo de reloj, el Atmega8L tiene un desempeño aproximado de 1 MIPS por Mhz, permitiendo un diseño del sistema para optimzar el consumo de energia contra la velocidad de procesamiento. El nucleo del microcontrolador AVR combina un set de instrucciones con 32 registros de proposito general. Todos los 32 registros estan conectados directamente con la Unidad de Aritmetica y Logica permitiendo que dos registros independientes sean accesados con una simple instruccion en un simple ciclo de reloj...
